This supportive housing effort is a partnership of services via HBH and housing space by PJ Works, LLC and includes partnerships with Bedford County agencies and businesses to overcome barriers to housing. We prioritize Veteran/Military referrals and will consider referrals for anyone who can live independently, walk up stairs without assistance, and is facing a current barrier to housing. We require participants to agree to and participate in a service plan to address the barriers that led them to housing insecurity. We are currently able to accept men and women referrals in two separate spaces. Bedrooms are individually keyed/locked and the remainder of the space is shared (bathroom, kitchen, common areas). Stays may vary based on progress and compliance and participation is entirely voluntary- anyone may exit the program at any time. The maximum stay is 179 days.
